The 4th Time Around
Entry # 1: 4-5 Weeks
Was that a big enough hint? Well if not I will just throw it out there. I recently was quite SURPRISED to find out this a big fat positive.
It’s taken a few days for it to really sink in. Mommy’s reactions was disbelief.
I took not 1
not 2
Not even 3
but a total of 7 pregnancy tests just to make sure it was really true.
Coming from someone who struggled to get pregnant with her first child, it is unbelievable that I have now gotten pregnant twice while on birth control.
What made me think I was pregnant? Two weeks after I thought I got what was a very light period I was feeling tired, a bit cranky, my boobs weretingly and sore, and I was pretty crampy. (All not typical for me.)took a test and tada it was positive.
I have said in the past plenty of times that I wasn’t 100% ready to close the door on more children. I still had a little hope I would be able to convince my husband otherwise in a year or two. But recently I was truly beginning to think that maybe he was right and three children was plenty enough. Especially because Mr. Hubby was really ready to be done and open a new chapter in our lives. Well apparently someone else has different plans.
Mr. Hubby didn’t exactly have the greatest reaction. He was totally surprised, shock, and didn’t know what to say. He was seriously speechless for about two days. I was a little disappointed but understood. It’s a hard situation. When you think things are moving in one direction and then all of a sudden a completely out of the blue curve ball comes flying your way, it can throw you for a loop. We have many things to think about and take care of. All is well and we will work out all the kinks over the next few months.
One Month
Our little surprise will arrive sometime in February!

Congrats on the new bambino!! Funny I had a dream last night that even though I"m on b/c, I had gotten pregnant… maybe I should also check! haha.Can't wait to read about your pregnancy as it progresses.

So exciting!! I had to giggle a little because I also took 7 pregnancy tests with my first one. I was on birth control and just couldn't believe it!
Congratulations! And boy do I know all about life throwing curve balls in the kid department! hahaha.
I certainly hope all of mine have been thrown…..but then again, you did say you got pregnant ON birth control…LORD help me……LOL…LOL
