A Fabulous Vaca in Myrtle Beach

You can’t get a better view from your beach front balcony!

The boys loved finding and watching the little clams dig themselves back underneath the sand.

We found about 30 shark teeth!

The boys were so excited and fell in love with all the fabulous miniature golf courses.

My favorite picture of the all.  Mason absolutely LOVED the beach.

We even got to experience not one but two days of bad storms and water spouts.  We were told no one had really seen one around the area before and we saw two in two days!

What are water spouts?

Waterspouts are tornadoes that form over water. They have the same characteristics as a land tornado, developing downward in a thunderstorm. They are associated with severe thunderstorms, and are often accompanied by high winds and seas, large hail, and frequent dangerous lightning.

That was pretty crazy.  It was far away but as you can see close enough.  You could see it throwing up a ton of water in the ocean.

Super cute mini palm tree.

A whole lot of body boarding in the ocean and the pool.

A beautiful rainbow appeared after one of the storms.

Last but certainly not least, we went crab hunting the night before we left.  The boys were so excited but a little nervous their toes were going to get pinched.  :)  We actually caught a pretty big one.  Yes, we did send it right back to sea.

It really was a great, much needed, family vacation in Myrtle Beach.  A fabulous end to our stressful crazy summer.
