Thank you to Fooz Kids for providing me with an All-In-One pack to review. The opinions I’ve expressed here are solely my own and represent my honest viewpoint.
The internet can be a scary place, especially for parents of little children. My six and four year old love to play on the computer. I have my approved website icons on our desktop that they are allowed to click on and play. The trouble is my six year old is pretty smart and knows how to navigate and search the internet. Although we have web blockers, we don’t have anything that completely prevents him from accessing unapproved website content. I recently came across the opportunity to try Fooz Kids All-in-One pack and I am so happy and thankful I did.
Fooz Kids is an application that provides kids with an internet environment that is both entertaining and secure. What makes Fooz Kids absolutely fabulous is that it is completely controlled by YOU, the parent!
There are just three easy steps to getting started.
1) Purchase the application online and then download it to your desktop.
2) Open the application and create an account – making a parent profile and child profile for each child.
The application will bring up a Fooz Kids List of kid-safe, mom approved websites, videos, games, and crafts, you child can access based on your their gender and age.
3) Access the Parental Dashboard via your own personal password and chose what you want your child to have access to under the Fooz Kids List. You can grand or deny access to the content on the list ny simply checking or unchecking the a box next to the content.
I have personally tried the Fooz Kids application out first hand with my two older boys and they LOVED it from the start. They can wait to earn a chance to play. It has many characters they have grown to love. They have especially enjoyed the special features where they were able to create their very own virtual room and personal avatar. The boys also love that they can add friends that also have Fooz Kids to there account and send mail back and forth. They have been telling every friend they can to get their parents to sign them up.
Fooz Kids also has many great feature for parents. As I stated above you can chose what you want them to have access to through the Fooz Kids List. Under a tab called My Channels, you can also add websites that you approve of that may not be on the list. You have access what is called Fooz Kids U, which is a like a report card that shows your child’s progress on games and questions. Another great feature that will give you even more piece of mind is the ability to enable a required password to exit the application.
Fooz Kids is truly is a fantastic application, that has so much more to offer you and your child. You can now say goodbye to your worries about the internet and your children.
