It’s been a Spring Break full of dreary cold weather here in the great NY state. Mama wasn’t going to wait until she heard the words “I’m bored” uttered from her little monsters before she took action. After desperately search for something “electronic FREE” and fun for the boys to do I came across “homemade playdough.” It’s not your traditional homemade playdough though. It’s peanut butter playdough and it’s actually edible!
Ingredients:
1 cup of creamy peanut butter
2 cups of powered sugar
1/2 cup of honey
It’s super easy! Add the ingredients together in a bowl.
Simply mix well until smooth. After mixing it all together I recommend digging your hands right in and kneading the dough by hand a few times.
Voila! There you have it. It’s enough dough to split between about 3-4 kids.
FYI: The dough has a little more of a honey flavor that I had anticipated.
I wasn’t sure if the boys were going to like it but they LOVED it! They were beyond excited that they could actually eat the playdough.
They had fun for over an hour making shapes and taking a few bites in between.
